1. Normal Morph
The most commonly observed form throughout Okinawa Island and much of the central Ryukyus.
This morph shows the classic bright green coloration typically associated with the species. Under natural light, the snake blends beautifully into subtropical forest vegetation.
Although individuals may occasionally display defensive behavior, the species is harmless to humans and generally very calm.
2. Striped Morph
A particularly beautiful morph commonly found in the northern Ryukyu Islands, especially around Amami Oshima and nearby islands.
Its elegant striped pattern and darker, more sophisticated coloration give it a striking appearance that is highly appreciated by reptile photographers and herpers.
Compared to the normal green form, the striped morph has a more refined and dramatic look in photographs.
3. Brown Morph
