In the nighttime jungle of Borneo, when your headlamp catches a reflection in the forest floor, it is most likely the Bornean Horned Frog (Pelobatrachus nasutus). These frogs are incredibly beautiful, yet not difficult to observe, as we spotted over 20 individuals in a single night. When illuminated by a light, they freeze and perfectly mimic dead leaves. For those who love creatures that use mimicry, their beauty is irresistible. These frogs can be primarily observed in the lowlands of Borneo.

They just stay still….
Cutest face ever
Incredible camoflage
