In the realm of wildlife, there’s an allure for animal enthusiasts to experience the beauty and ecology within the natural habitats of these creatures. I embarked on a journey to ensure comfortable travels that maximize the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity many seek when encountering these beings on a trip dedicated to meeting them.
With a focus on herping (the observation of amphibians and reptiles) and eco-friendly travels, I started offering products and sharing information. I aim to provide effective tools and information for observing wildlife, ensuring everyone can fully relish these unique encounters. I also curate products suitable for activities like safaris, birdwatching, and photography. Upholding the importance of coexistence with nature, I strive to assist in deeper connections with the natural world.

Profile (Wataru HIMENO)
Since childhood, I’ve been immersed in the pursuit of insects, and now I lead tours for a travel company, exploring creatures worldwide. After graduating from university, I spent about two years volunteering in Ecuador, learning how crucial local community involvement is in nature conservation. Driven by the desire to create a society where local communities can sustain their livelihoods by conserving their immediate wildlife, I chose to work in the travel industry.
The urge to encounter more creatures intensified in places so precious that one might only visit once in a lifetime. This led me to focus on sharing information and creating merchandise to facilitate journeys where one can meet a greater variety of wildlife. Additionally, to aid those facing similar dilemmas, I’ve opened a website and initiated merchandise sales.
The ‘biggest catch’ from my childhood neighborhood was a Grass lizard, which sparked my deep affection for reptiles ever since. Advocating for ecotourism that benefits not just us humans but also wildlife, I strive to disseminate information. This is all aimed to support a mutual benefit between humans and wildlife. I’m excited to introduce this on the blog’s ‘About us’ page!
